I was extremely flattered to be a guest speaker on the Teaching In Higher Ed podcast where I spoke about my YouTube channel and pencasting. Pencasting is a style of video where the ‘teacher’ is writing on the screen so it looks like a whiteboard or blackboard. I made a video to explain how I make these videos.
I have used an iPad and a free screen recorder to record very similar videos so please don’t think you need a specific product to make these. I am in love with my Microsoft Surface because the stylus works so well with the tablet and I don’t get any funny marks on the screen when I rest my hand on the screen.
